Tears Must Flow

Life goes on in this universe where life is meant to just go on. Tears and laughter flow just like everything else in it. Nothing is lost and nothing gained. They say time heals everything but when time too is just a man-made illusion, what is hurt and what is healed...that too is just an illusion. What is 'past' can't hurt you in the present. The 'present' is not matter that can be taken into the future. Life is what is happening to you at this point of time...there is no 'before and after'.

Blurred images swim outside my window.
A mirage in green hues shivered.
Flowers look strangely like
the flame-of-the-forest
leaping licking
the vacuum above.
Birds swim past as wet
blobs, why do they look like
fish-out-of-water, lost and mangled.
Square then rhombus now swims my window.

I let them flow, burning tears without a swallow.
Lest those hot tears reach my heart,
which, underwater already
swims, weary valves
beating thrashing,
it’s grave, red-waters.
Taking a breath too scary,
Lest tears reach my brain in big haste.
Lacing salt on those hurting, fresh & old sorrow.

The flow charts its course as the dam bursts.
I let it flow till it dries, on my cheek
and on my lap, on fire were
the red-orange flowers
pretty, shiny
on bare-twiggy branches.
Very chirpy the birds were.
Sun shines bright, his warmth I seek.
Will sit there till birds, go back to their nests.

Corporate Planning

Size Zero. A dream sold well. That's all there is to it. Beauty is a big time business that involves dissatisfied people. It only leads to complications not only in the body but also in the mind. Pro Ana Webring has a list of thinspirations that are really funny and can give you an idea of how an anorexic mind thinks. Infact I included this in my post as a chectlist of symptoms. If you find you have a few of them, then mabe you need some help! -From Lightchatter

  • Make an ANA scrapbook with pics of skinny models. Write down all the reasons you want to lose weight. Keep track of everything you eat.
  • The only freedom left is the freedom to starve.
  • Giving in to food shows weakness, be strong and you will be better than everyone else.
  • You aren't defeated when you lose, you're only defeated when you quit!
  • Do not give up on what you want most for what you want at the moment.
  • Nothing matters when I'm thin.
  • An imperfect body reflects an imperfect person.
  • Nothing tastes as good as thin feels.
  • I'm not starving myself. I'm perfecting my emptiness.
  • It's not deprivation, it's liberation.
  • Craving is only a feeling.
  • Thin is a skill.
  • What's in your fingers today is on your hips tomorrow.
  • Quod me nutrit, me destruit (What nourishes me also destroys me)
  • What the scale says is the most important thing.
  • Being thin and not eating are signs of true willpower and success.

Plot is planned, a clever trap laid
Money spills as spin machines trade

Effulgent in smart labeled suits
Pert fleet footed those high fliers

Billboard images that entice
With painted dreams of fancy lies

Deceived by the glitterati
Sizezero-sixpack guarantee

Mind, the body image controls
Beauty begets fame and laurels

Not all are blessed traffic stoppers
Most numskull dream-body hopers

In a bank vault his laughter rings
Beauty hunter an old song sings

The fat man’s mind bestirred berserk
Pills and drills and suctions at work

A cruel diet gives way soon
To depression binging of doom

Constant companions for days
Self loathing and neurosis stays

Affluenza

affluenza-x-480

I dreamt and craved
For a new pair of shoes
Or visit to the zoo.
I worked hard to please
With the best of manners
My chores done perfectly
My homework on time
And my sweetest of smiles.

Waiting for days
In patient excitement
Till at last one day
My wants were fulfilled.
The joy and thrill
Of the wish come true
With hugs and kisses
Thankful and grateful
In a new of pair shoes!

Gone are those days
Filled with the magic of wanting
Out on  streets fancy
Window-shopping for fun
Dreaming and preening
Looking longingly hard
At the quiet mannequin
In a dress so gorgeous
You wish it were yours.

Today that dress
Is stripped off her shoulder
And packed in a jiffy
No dreaming no waiting
No smiles no kisses
Just a dip of a hand
Into my purse of plenty
For that piece of plastic
That has killed all the fun.

New disease has hits us all
The disease of affluenza
Of squander and depression.
With money in surplus
In every mans pocket
Dreams dry up
As money buys all,
All that is desired
In a split of a second.
